Every fourth Monday of the month the Dallas Aristotelian Society meets to discuss significant primary texts in philosophy from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm [at 5010 Victor Street, Dallas, Tx. 75214].

Group discussions are led by Tim Smith and Todd Kappelman.   Typically, particiants read a few pages of a text in philosophy -- and then the group meets for discussion of the text.   DAS participants place a premium on close and careful reading of philosophical texts -- keeping an eye open to the cultural, personal, and historical contexts of the texts.
